is one week of observation after Tank Transffer Method enough for fish quarentine?

Thanks,
one more question
a friend is giving me one of his fish. He never quarantined anything in his dt.
He has had the fish for 2 months now.

in this case that the fish has not been in a medicated environment for 2 moths in my friends tank, is TTM + Prazi sufficient, with no more Observation time before I introduce fish to my dt??

thanks again

I believe the idea of waiting 4 more weeks after TTM is to make sure fish has no velvet or brooks because it can show up to 4 weeks after in a fish that has been in water with copper, but this is not the case. The fish has not been in medicated water, so I think waiting time after TTM is not needed in this case ??

please let me know what you think

As I stated before, 2 weeks TTM and then just 4 more weeks may not be enough for a new fish.
It may be sufficient if it came from another tank without any issues and no new fish within the last 3 months.

Otherwise I would usually recommend 8 weeks total.
