It`s All Their Fault!

Great start Knyght!

I always like waterkeepers threads and used melev's site many times for ideas. :)

Take care!

How long will the store hold it for you??
The store owner also happens to be a personal friend, so he will hold as long as I want him to I think.

When were you planning on adding a Powder Blue? They get very territorial and are more sensitive to newer water.
It will be at least another week. before I will even consider bringing it home. That is the reason I upgraded, and donated the Kole tang that I had to the club tank.

Thanks Mr Prez. I have been watching your thread for quite some time.

Tagging along!!

Seems that if you're learning from the masters and their amazing threads, but mostly their amazing abilities of organization and planning, yours is also going to be a great tank to watch it's development.

Keep the pictures and info coming

Congrats:thumbsup:

This post was written with Melev in mind.

I think he finished his canopy but, then again, he may be saying he was thrown out of drug rehab. :D

Rightie Oh, Mr. Keeper!
You win 1/2 of the gold star for today.

Your first answer was wrong, *the framework for the main part is done*, still have the bow in front to do, it will be a lift up lid, however the second part of your response was close, because as hard as I tried, I just couldn`t rehab those drugs, dang nab it.
They just have a mind of their own, and keep doing what they do. I think what we had was a "failure to communicate".

I snapped a few shots of it last night, but since my hard drive had to be replaced I haven`t had time to install the software to d/l the pics to this computor. Soon as I have the time I will post a few.

Close up of a joint. I wanted the least amount of metal over the tank as I could get, so I didn`t want any screws. Not the best joint, but it will be skinned over. :)

Couple of shots of it over the tank.

You know, this doesn't belong on the Newbie Forum. I'd try the "Norm" forum at "This Old House".
:D

Oh! It's a wine rack! I don't think red wine does well over MH bulbs, due to the heat coming off the bulbs.

Don`t tell me I am going to need 2 chillers!?!?!
1 for the tank, and another for the wine?

I knew this hobby could be expensive but that may be getting out of hand :)

Actually, I like that you have it so you can move the lights from notch to notch. Pretty nice solution.

Thanks Marc,
I have to give credit to JeffBrig for the idea.

On a completely different topic, I'm considering turning my MH pendants to run lengthwise down the tank. I originally thought this orientation made more sense based on the width of the tank:

My thought is to just to use a single J-hook in the middle of the pvc. then run a chain to each hook on the reflector.

Got to few things done today. Errands are finally starting to slow down for me, giving me a chance to work on the tank.
Here are a few pic to update the thread.
First couple show how I hung the reflectors.

I couldn`t find any plastic chain, *didn`t look very hard :D* however all metal above the tank is stainless steel. Screws and such. I guess I could replace the screws with nylon ones. Any suggestions one way or the other anyone?

One side temporarily skinned.
