Guys, I just wanted to say thank you for all the kind words, support and encouragement .
My number one priority during this ordeal was keeping my family safe from the toxic molds. The bonus was doing a lot of the work ourselves to stretch our dollars which was very rewarding.
Now, we get to focus on what stuff gets brought back into the house. My wife is super ecstatic with her "œnew" kitchen, flooring and carpeting. I want our garage back and our front/back yards cleared of all the clutter.
Most of all, I want my ankle sprain healed up so I can get back to my true passions .
It's been a bittersweet experience for me. Rob, Jeremy, Pam and Jason witnessed the chaos at one stage or another. Honestly, at one point when I was alone chucking the dead, I nearly threw up :mad2:. But that could have been due to all the drywall dust, tile and mortar dust, cabinet stain/varnish smells, carpet and pad dander that piled up in my lungs .
I've got a babysitter lined up for stuff in the remaining bin and plan to have that torn down over the next couple days.
After that, I'm going to let the dust settle (*Literally*) for a couple months or so. We've got the surviving fish and shrimp to enjoy and maybe some of the corals in the display will pull thru.
With all your support and words of encouragement, how can I get out :celeb1:! What an awesome community!
