its been a fun ride guys...

Sorry to hear about the bad news Tim :(. I'm glad your family is safe. I wish you a fast recovery, as your tank has always been an inspiration for me.

Tim, sorry to hear about the livestock, didn't even have time to catch up with you after BAYMAC. Been so bz figuring out how to setup a new network.

Hang in there and if you need want any corals from our tank when you're ready, it's yours.

Anthony and family.

Tim, I just heard about the crash. :(. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. When you are ready let me know if I can help. I'm sure the rebuild will be even better than the last.

Tim... We have never met before, but many of us on the outside looking in see you as a sort of legend. I am truly sorry for your losses and the loss of marine life.

OMG, I'm so sorry to hear about this Tim (I haven't been on lately).

I really enjoyed my one visit over and of course the corals I got from you. Please, please let me know if you need any help setting up again should you decide and of course you can have any frags you want out of my tank.

James

I met you a long time ago when I bought Mr Majestic. I've enjoyed seeing your aquarium on the net over the years as it developed and grew.

Best of luck to you, and I hope to see you back some day.

Tim -

All I have to say is WOW! Sorry to hear about the loss....Let me know if you need any help with anyhting at any time..I am just around the corner!

Glad everything is good with the family regardless...Now get the ankle healed so we can go for a ride!!!

Tim,
Just stumbled onto this site. So sorry to hear about your loss. Glad the mold was taken care of. The longer the mold had remained undiscovered the worse your family would have been! We are just started in the hobby and recently lost all of our SPS and LPS to some unknown water problem, and it hurt. I can hardly imagine, with a beautiful, mature tank like you had! Sounds like you have many friends willing to help with a fresh start. I can't wait to see your new tank in a year! Good luck!!
Michele :p

Hey man,

I still have that nodulating green cap and the Surf n Turf I got from you years ago. Let me know when you are ready. I would be happy to kick down. Some large pieces are taking up too much real estate.

Robert

general update...

general update...

well, you'd think that the system would be pretty care-free since i didn't have much coral in there but if its not one thing its another .

over the last couple months, i've had to replace a few old Tunze Streams that hit the 7 year mark and my primary return pump that seized up. and why do those old tunze alarms always go off at 3am :uzi:? then i think Friday the 13th got me yesterday...i noticed a big crack in a corner of the top euro-bracing. threw some weld-on #16 on it but know it needs attention asap :eek2:!

and did anyone get their SMUD bill? $340 for July and we used LESS kwh/day compared to last year :mad2:.

but some good news...the corals that survived are making a comeback. not worthy of posting pics but a step in the right direction. today, i got many corals back that mark (thanks a million mark :celeb3:) babysat for me while the tank settled in. also, i tested my ankle out a couple weeks ago in a sprint triathlon and did well under the circumstances.

here's a bike pic since i know many of you are into riding...

Tim glad to see your moving foward
My electric bill doubled :sad1: chillers and A/C will do it everytime

Tim...What a very unfortunate series of events. It's been so long since I've logged in here I had to reset my account to say I was sorry to see it. I can remember several times standing in front of your tank in complete awe. The remodel looks very nice, and I pray the mold issue will be resolved for good.

paul, no chiller here just routine A/C. kim, i "heard" someone we know got a new timetrial bike. maybe she'll chime in :D.

david, its been a long time man. a very long time.

a big shout out to rob (underwaterparadise) for babysitting too. now the assessment begins...

Tim, if you're ready, I have a few chunks laying on the bottom of my tank including the clathrata, lovelli, red robin and a couple others

those sound great mark, thx! also, need an ultimate watermelon chalice if you have some. that guy must have died on whoever was babysitting it :(

Ok, I'll get you a piece. Are you going to be around this weekend for the acros?
