Jacqueline's Reef 290 Build

It looks like he just grabbed a few scraps of leftover glass and threw them in a box...

I'm beginning to think that GC is run by a bunch of---->:ape::ape::ape::ape::ape::ape::ape:

Once again what we have here is a failure to communicate. I am thinking I am getting 2 full euro braces to to replace the broken pieces. There I go thinking again.:wildone:

This ...

At this point, I would do a charge back on my Credit Card and make the tank available outside my home for GC to come pick up.

Realistically you will have better luck having a glass shop cut the braces for you. I imagine GC wants you to splint the bracing with what they provided. I hope I have to eat crow and they fix this quickly.

Sorry you have to deal with it.

That's it that is all they sent.:hmm3: I am not surprised at all  I am done with GLASS CAGES. I have a guy, Brian Sylvester from Sylvester Auto Glass in Stauton that is going to get me a what I need to repair it. And help me with the repair. Very nice guy:) Him and his wife came over to look at it and we talked for about 3 hours. He is going to join SLASH on this next pizza night if all works out. Life is good.

I would be a throne in there side. Just keep on calling until you get what you want. Can you do anything with the credit card it was charged on? I wonder if it would help to email the BBB.

Then call the cops wherever there office is and tell em somebodies gonna need a ambulance. Haha

At this point I just want to get it fixed and move on. My newest bestest buddy, who's name I spelled wrong in a earlier post (Brian Silvester), told me last night he will get some glass cut and get this thing fixed very soon.:bounce1:

Here is to Brian

Would the BBB help ,or is there some one like channel 2 news that could help ?

I don't think that the BBB could do anything about it. Technically they did nothing wrong. They never told me it would be crated and when it left there dock the trucking co. took responsibility for it. As soon as it was delivered to the location of my choice and someone signed for it, it is now my problem.

That will never happen to me again.:headwallblue:

Well we all learn from our mistakes and we move on bow let's get this fixed I'm ready to see the tank come together.:D

I know how you feel Dave. I've been staring at my empty 225 for a while now. My dad just finished my stand and it's finally off the ground. Can't wait to see it finally fillable Dave, then the fun begins!

There is no one more anxious than I. :wildone:

Should have the repair parts by the end of the week. This is killing me seeing the tank every morn and eve. just sitting there.

:uhoh2::uhoh2::uhoh2::uhoh2::uhoh2:

i'm with you guys i've had my new tank empty in my living room since 6/10, been buying pieces for over a year and finally got my lights ordered this week so hopefully things start to roll here pretty soon.

The last three posts make me feel much better about the pitiful speed at which I am moving at in my build.

I did just get my new RO/DI unit from PA!!! :-)
