Japanese - sumthing, sumthing (pics)

This is sort of off topic but......... If they keep their calcium low to prevent corallie growth then is it harder to maintain pH??
And what is zeovit?

You can use baking soda to adjust PH that will not add calcium in the tank... I think what they are doing is a consistant measurement of CA in their tanks.. Watching how fast it is depleted then gauging that as a reference point to add their supplements. They also could be ( Which I saw in a few tank) housing urchins to eat off the coralline algea.....

Zeovit is a new form of biological filtration which combines a series of CA,MG, And amino acid supplements...All of which are being housed in a reactor of sorts ...... One layering into the other one. Im not using it so Invincable can probably better describe this.......It seems that people who are following the "Best Known Pratices " on this are achieving better coloration.......

Nice thread. Thank you invincible569 for posting the URL for poe-poe. I am starting to talk with the reefer Poe and his friends through their individual message boards.

Thank you, NuclearReefs. I got the idea for the overflow from someone in Nano Reef Forum. I am very happy with the design.
