in My 10gal Tank Away From Home.

i got it from a friend of mine who goes up to the wholesellers a lot. he should be opening up a site soon. i'm sure he'll put up some cool shrimps.

marlooney, i dont think that is the same one. i also have a "ghost" shrimp that looks identical to yuors and lives in a RBTA. The colors arent the same though as the Japanese one.

maybe your screen does it show it. but that japanese shrimp has blue and red.

it does but i don't think it actually has red. so the coral under it is green & red? hard to tell with such an over saturated photo. and mine has a mix of pinkish grey on the white tail spot where it appears red on the japanese photo. do you have a pic of yours?

I can tell teh difference in the shrimp and coral. the shrimp definitily has red and blue in it. I do have a pic and it looks like your 2nd one.

I would have to agree. Those look like 2 different species of shrimp.

They are both from the same family, Periclimenes.

BUT, the glass "ghost" shrimp is distinctive by its 5 orange spots on the back of its tail. This one does not.

show me a pic of its tail. Other than that, the colors are different. dont know why you keep saying its the same? Like I said, they are all in the same family and so is mine, just different colors.

i checked already... couldn't find a pic of it's tail and currently do not have access digi cam. also, it usually keeps it's tail closed... well nott fan it out. i don't know why you're so intent to doubt it's the same kinda shrimp. you already said you had an identical shrimp to mine and that was wrong. could it be so far fetched that i have a shrimp that was in a pic from a japanese tank? do they get shrimps so rare & exotic that we can't have anything they have? they've got scarlets & fire shrimp too just like us.
