Jebao Dc powered pump

Well it might be possible that even dialed down to the lowest setting, it might be too much flow.

I'm not sure if it's good or bad for DC pumps to get back pressure like that.

I only use it for maintenance not flow control. I can disconnect my entire manifold and the water level in the tank never goes below where I can run all my vortech and tunze. Photobucket was down so I will post pics later

docstach, The sump was made locally in NYC by Custom King Acrylics. He does some awesome work..

And this is how I plumbed it into the system ( the Pump has a 1.5" intake and output which I reduced to 1")

The manifold

I didn't go with a Herbie overflow since I wanted a smaller overflow box. I went with a standard durso and it is silent.

Pic of the tank almost finished. You can see how small my overflow box is. The tank was custom made. Excuse the wires. I am waiting I=on some wire management stuff and also have to set up the controls cabinet. Hopefully this weekend I can finish.

give us some review after you run it

I just ordered one on 11/1 with a Group Buy and we are being told that they will be delivered end of November. (I hope so)

If there is a lot of head lose then the 6000 may not be the right thing for my 55 gallon.
We'll see.

Hey guys just got the 9000 and 6000 for my next upgrade ,noticed on the pump that they do have metal screws and if you look inside the intake there is what appears to be a metal C-clip ,now are these metal parts stainless ?or are they going to rust???

Anyone?

Too soon to tell. Nothing wrong with mine and no signs of rust after 3 weeks running. I heard that they might be coming out with a controller with inputs for Apex/Reef Angel control. That would be cool.

My DC6000 (2) and WP25 (2) are both here at the group buy ship to so I will pick them up today, the DC12000 (4) that I ordered, along with a bunch of other people's DC12000 are still on backorder after 6 weeks. They have said they should ship 'soon' but that depends on what you mean by soon. It's like they are intentionally evasive. More to follow.

Spydr, excellent question! And even a lot of poor grade and mid grade stainless will russ in salt water after 1-6 months.

Yea I figure you can always dab a little silicone on the screws ,and as for the small metal c-clip in the intake ,being so small and alway spinning shouldn't have any rust issues or hurt the tanks if it does
