Jeff J's Two-One-0 Build thread

Funny how probably the least spectacular upgrade has me feeling pretty good

After putting the halides on line a few weeks ago it was obvious that the circuit was at "maximum utilization". The breaker popped a couple times and I staggered the lighting schedule to lower use on the circuit. I also worried if the breaker popped and I wasn't there to reset it.

After not being able to find a electrician I decided to get my hands dirty and do the work myself. So the picture above is the new GFCI proctected outlet on it's very own 20 amp breaker.

I might just go turn everything now because I can! :celeb2:

Looking good man. Second pic spongodes?

Yup, that chromis practically hosts in it all day. Grows like a weed. Need a chunk?

I have learned(but dont always do) turn off the flow for better results. That said, looking good though.

Yeah, I had the flow on for this set. I've been playing with getting my POS kodak to focus. No manual focus adjustments so I'm constantly changing the distance of the camera and the zoom to get the piece I want in focus. I'm certainly a noob.

It's been awhile since I updated. I put in a few much needed hours work on the tank yesterday. Don't mind the cloudy water this pic is post water change. You can see the doors popped off and the 25 gal frag cube I added a couple months ago.

Jeff,
Very nice setup and well thought out. I am sure you and your family will enjoy it for many years to come.

Thank you!

Thank you!

I remember when I got this bad boy home, a few very experienced reefers recommended I cut the carpet and set the stand straight on the slab. This turned out to be some very prudent advice that I'm glad I accepted. A flood situation forced some flooring replacements this week and it paid off big time!!!!

THANK YOU!

For the record the flood was not tank related, it was kid vs. bathroom. I lost :uhoh3: at least I don't have to worry about moving the tank.
