Awesome pics. I am sure that was pretty memorable! Hope you have more pics to share in the future of the trip.

I live in Colorado and have only been to the ocean twice. Once in Cabo and once in San Diego. Your pics are beautiful. To see the school of Anthia and the giant monitpora is amazing. You are so lucky to enjoy this in person. Your pics are wonderful!!

good photog skills. whats funny is i have most of those corals and fish in my tank, LOL.
you should elaborate more for folks whom havent made the trek out this way....its a trek for sure. tell them about the village you stayed in, where u went etc. what about your camera setup. Disposable underwater one from walgreens :)

Oh yeah, you got that right, it's a trek....and a half...I think you in Kwaj, right? We had originally planned the trip to end in Majuro. But at the last minute thinks looked very unsure about accomodations, diving etc and I decided to go two "hops" further to Kosrae. A very small but very beautiful, very safe island with friendly, peaceful people and nothing to do but sleep, eat and dive :)

Camera is a Canon Point and Shoot, nothing special, not expensive rig with strobes etc. I just constantly keep adjusting the white balance and the pictures come out great.

Awesome! I love it! Do you have any photos of the beach and reef from outside of the water?

Not too many, lol, as we spend most of the time being wet!

Thanks for the compliments :)
The camera is nothing spectacular, it's a Canon Digital Elph 300. I bought a big bad Ikelite housing for it just to realize that none of the buttons where making contact. They told me that it probably would be allright under water, but I didn't take the chance and brought a Canon housing along as well. Sure enough, the Ikelite was useless and the Canon housing saved the day.
