Justin's Cadlights 39g build thread

My next car will be a volt or similar but no mini van yet

My 6 years old daily driver car is plain stock not even a rims but I am down :)
Lets go :)

I was up in the air between the M3 and the F when I bought this. What steered me in the direction of the Lexus was that it is a "Toyota" meaning dependable. It gave me everything I wanted including Navi and was like $6K cheaper than the M3 plus I got an extended warranty up to 125K miles on it. Lastly you don't see many F's out there and I see a couple M3's daily.

However the M3 is a beast and has more engine mods available as the F has no tuning abilities what so ever as no one has cracked the various ECU's

M3 just seems to have more users and a more loyal fan base, hence why they have all those stroke engine mods and FI super chargers out for it. I do agree that there are *TOO* many m3's out there and not enough IS-F's. I do like those Advan's though. What rims were you looking to get for your the track? TE37's?

I say do a 1/4 mile and winner gets a frag of his choice from everyones tank.

Hmmmmm No bikes allowed cory! And my el camino is in hiatus since my dad got sick :-( Can anyone say 500+ of naturally aspirated horsepower? (dont know exactly how much till it gets done any dyno'd, But before it was 400 hp before all the upgrades im doing) Either way, My racing days are over. Just want a fast grocery getter LOL

yup i didnt want to be in the "Fan Boy" club so I went the route of the F lol.

I was most likely going to get a set of 18" TE's or RE's something light weight and smaller than stock so I can run some fatter tires. The 20's look baller but obviously give up performance in the canyons/track but even with them on I can keep the car going pretty good in the twisties.

Now on to the racing for frags!!! im ready!!

I can roll out my buddys R1 and wreck you all haha jk I cant risk getting hurt again but I would love to watch this!

you ever go to super car Sundays by your house?

Naw I like to be low profile since my car is modded and I don't need extra attention. 520 whp on pump and 620 on race but I want to change some things up it should have been more on race. First additions are better couplers was blowing my intercooler piping apart lol

Not much has changed in my tank. I'm still fighting minor algae problems due to my neglect (missed my weekly water change). I bought an old FD Canon macro lens for $30. Pictures are not that great because I don't have a tripod yet but have a cheap one ordered and it will be coming soon. Enjoy!

Tripod is here. It makes macro photography so much easier. Here are some pictures. Constructive criticism accepted, please! I'm trying to take better pictures.

Bring that lens over here!! Where did you score it at? Looking good :-)

Thanks, scored it on Ebay. It's not about the equipment; it's about the photographer. There are tons of people who have dSLRs and can't take pictures of their reef tank because you need more than just good equipment to take a pretty picture. Reef tanks are specifically hard because of the color and reflections as well. My camera only cost me $420ish~, add the lens and tripod, and we're under $500.

Please pm me more info Justin on the macro lens/ebay. I have a Canon Rebel XTI and have been looking awhile for a macro but very pricey. I'd like to know more about what you did

Exactly! But i bought my camera for other purposes than taking pics of my tank. I still need to get used to it and from there watch out! Still need to order that tri pod! My other point and shoot i have taken some photos that are great. I mostly do nature and people. Heres a simple picture taken of a oregon blackberry flower. This was my old point and shoot camera
