I just have my lights on 1mar14.
I adjusted my mix by tuning, when the whole bulb turns full blue, then back down slowly to white, then back up to just before it turns full blue.
Let me check the position of my dial.

I read through the thread and some note of not being able to adjust the color balance. I run mine off of my apex and can go from 10K to 20K color.My tank is mixed reef but my growth is outstanding. Ok, that's funny, that's about exactly what I do, I turn full blue then slowly the other way until the whites come back on.

After 45 day acclimation I am running them @ 100 intensity.

I had one MP40 long ago on the 120 before I took it down, I always wanted to know how two would be.

My photo period is On @9am with 3 hour ranp to full till 6pm then 3 hour and off @9pm. The t5 are on @noon and off @ 6pm usin the apex. I also use the apex to start the 360 @ 20K when the photo period starts and about 12k at noon when the t5 kick on then the reverse for cycle down for the evening.
THe MP40's are great and all the coral love them. They run @ 40 percent on pulse sync/antisync @ 8 sec pulse. It given a nice waving action back and forth.

I am fighting the bubble algae war now. Starting to get the upper hand with the help of 4 Emerald crabs but woosh they are tough to get rid of. I am really liking the Kessils so far and am very pleased thus far.

Good to know, I plan to have the APEX soon and have a similar idea for the photo period.

I find tat there's a small region between white and full blue, I see that the led has whitish n bluish color. Tats when I find the sweet spot.

Hi, is it easy to program the apex to control the a360we from 20k to 12k? Have u tried 20k-12k-20k?
For yr mp40, r u using short or long pulse?

20K 12k 20k is what i do with the photo period. Deep blue when ramping up 12K for mid day then back to 20K when ramping down to off.
I am not using the long or short on the controller I am tehered to the WXM and rum my 40's through the apex. @40 percent power on the 40's with 8 seconds between them for a nice sea like wash back and forth. Running sync and anti sync through the apex. Hope that was a good explaination.

What t5 color combo did you use with your kessils?? And what percentage, intensity and color are your kessils on when you run those t5s. I'm asking what your preferred look is?

Question for you? I have two Kessil 360s They work great however I have not been able to keep clam alive, everything ells in my tank is doing great, Water parameters look good, I tested today before my water change and the Calk is at 420, should it be higher for clams could that be the problem? i use oyster feast to feed it. in any case I am on my 4th clam now and I would love to be able to keep it alive.
any help or suggestions would be great.

Strange. I do not do any direct feeding for any of my clams and all of mine are in the sand on a 30" deep tank. I'd have to think that you may have something in your tank that is picking at the clams? What type of clam are you trying to keep and what else is in the tank?

2 Blue plus and 2 purple plus ATI bulbs. When the T5 come on I have the Apex turn the Kessil to roughly 12k. or 40 percent(apex setting) Spectrum on the Kessils. Intensity is 100 percent I like the 12k look(as close as i can get to my eye for mid day..

I too was unable to achive this type of flow with just the ecosmart controllers. Spot on with the apex and the WXM though.
