Kessil A360WE

2 Blue plus and 2 purple plus ATI bulbs. When the T5 come on I have the Apex turn the Kessil to roughly 12k. or 40 percent(apex setting) Spectrum on the Kessils. Intensity is 100 percent I like the 12k look(as close as i can get to my eye for mid day..

Nice. I think I might replace my coral plus for a purple plus

I have a dual T5 fixture and going with one blue plus and a purple plus for dusk dawn affect (on for 16 hours), then the Kessils 100% @~14k 6 hours.

Can't wait for their new LED Fixture to come out.

It was supposed to be last October but got pushed back and now it is supposed to come out Mid-2014 so that is in a couple of months away.

I am very very excited.

I am fighting the bubble algae war now. Starting to get the upper hand with the help of 4 Emerald crabs but woosh they are tough to get rid of. I am really liking the Kessils so far and am very pleased thus far.
For bubble algae, i do as what mr saltwatertank guy did. Using a small short section of clear hard tube connected to the silicon air hose. The other end of the air hose goes into my filter sock in sump. Those big ones I am able to dislodge using the hard tube and bring them out of the tank. Small ones they go into the filter sock. I dump a submersible uv light into my sock. So far they are under control and their propagation speed has greatly reduced.

probably waiting to clear the stocks of old models before they launch the new model.
For the new fixture, is tat a router antenna on the right of the fixture? I guess the unit might come with 2x dense matrix array. But there's only 1 fan so hopefully it is not 1 x dense array but installed in a long fixture. There isn't any LCD screen on the pic, only arrow buttons.
My guess would be connection is by wifi to program the light. Pressing of buttons are pwm to control intensity and spectrum instead of dial.

Originally it is supposed to have Cannon's (A150 / A350) and Rows of Single LED's (Like ReefBrite or Build my LED).

Then I heard a Rumor that it will have T5 Bulbs too.

Can't wait to see the Finished Product.

Got my 360w installed and running this weekend. I am very pleased with them. Now just need to figure out the Apex programming for them.

Just read the thread on led lifespan thread, saying spectrum n par reduction. Wonder how kessil is...

My 2nd kessil a360we arriving this evening.

Thnaks for the tip Burger. I am too doing that but it came on so fast it almost got out of control over night. I am using emeralds manual extraction some GFO. It has slowed to a halt as far as spreading but still battleing.

So that's the "default" program for the pumps? Plug and play?
Looks like my item to get.

Not sure what exactaly you mean by default? Install the WXM to the apex. Then link the the Ecosmart drivers to the WXM(series of button pushes and blinking lights on the ecosmart drivers) this has to be done for each driver individually. Then profiles need to be created in the apex software drop down menu. Then locate the each vortech on the hone page set what mode and power you want it at and select which is master and which is slave and then you sre rollin. Very basic explaination but you get the gist? I can detail and post screen shots of the apex setup if you need them.

Need some advice here. Anyone see the difference? I suspect one array got defects. Pls help.

Utilizing the old radion hanging kit. Adding a keychain ring and a push type carabiner.

As the 2nd kessil is nearer to the edge of tank, has lowered it slightly so that less light spilling outside of tank.

I have mine mounted 6" from the water, seems to work well for each 24x24x24 area.
