LA shipping salinity

I have two fish coming in Tuesday from the QM/California facility. I called but only got a range to keep them for long term health. What salinity have your LA shipments been arriving lately?

My last couple from the Ca facility have been 1.019-1.020.

to me, this is an easy question that nobody there seems to know the answer to.

1.019 to 1.020 here as well . DD is always 1.025 to 1.026.

Interesting, my last two were a bit lower, around 1.017. Hmmmmn, maybe I need to calibrate my refractometer.

+ 1 on the DD fish being at 1.025, I haven't ordered any other fish from them

If you look at their website on quarantine procedures for DD, the fish salinity is 1.025 (just coming from Wisconsin). According to FAQ, CA facility is kept at 1.018 - 1.020 for fish.

They cant say exactly, because in a large facility it can fluctuate throughout the day.

Just an update. My two wrasses arrived at 1.018, from the CA facility

My last two shipments from the CA facility arrived at 1.015, 1st shipment was two weeks ago, and 2nd one arrived yesterday. And yes it was calibrated, and confirmed.

Wow, that's lower than I've ever seen from LA. My last shipment from them a few weeks ago was at 1.018.
