Learning/rebuilding from my epic fail

Here's a Fiji mini colony which has darkened significantly since being in my tank.. Still nice, though.. Maybe more interesting than before.. Still changing, I think..

Hey Matt,
Those colors are looking great man! Even though you have had some recent issues, your colors and corals look healthy, looks stable... Great Job!

Dan, Perry, thanks!! The tank is still in transition but I'm trying to keep n and p in the same range as I reduce the pellets.. So far so good..
This week I turned down the pellets again and began dosing a small amount of iron to make sure the cheato stays happy.. And I'll up my n additions a touch..

Few more pics! :)
This guy is starting to push out at the base and has gained a deeper red/pink in the body..

New one with potential from raging reef.. I bought it because the body was blue and the growth was red. His nutrients are lower than mine and some of his insane corals get a little less insane in my tank and sometimes the reverse happens.. Some corals just look better in ulns and some look better with higher nutrients.. Anyways, the blue has turned green in my tank but once it starts growing, it should be very nice..

This impending war was scuttled by my rearranging the corals. The frog skin is nice but it's a fast grower and totally green so I moved it to lesser prime real estate. The Cali tort can stay..

Looking good Matt! I'm glad you're happy with your tank again. It's fall now, so that's a natural thing. :D

Woah...those are some stunning pieces. Acros are looking super! Great photography too. Keep the eye candy coming. :D

Ooooooohhhhh that's pretty Matt, like really drop dead gorgeous - the stub shooting on the rock is just as beautiful. I'm very jealous of you right now lol. :)
I'm glad that things are on the right track mate, acros don't look like that unless you're on the money or getting bloody close as i'm sure you know ;)

Thanks Andrew! Appreciate the comments. Things are pretty good.. Growth is coming but sporadic.. I guess because I haven't stopped messing with things.. Now I have a bubble algae outbreak commencing.. Hopefully it'll work itself out..
The piece in the photo is smack in the middle of my tank, mid water and the new growth is higher up and closer to a Mh. I think the big piece needs more light.. I have a dim spot, now in the middle of the tank since going to two 250w MH from three 150.. I might have to add a 150 back in the middle..

Thanks Mindy... Yep back we go into hibernation for another winter :( at least we still get our vitamin D from staring at our tanks!

Awesome looking Acro, congrats :celeb1:

Thanks!

Wow awesome colorful acro. I especially love the pink/red body one from the first pic. I am drooling.

It's got great potential.. Not there yet.. Another nice piece from raging reef..

Thanks, sahin! I will oblige:)

My not so orange passion growing slowly..

Waiting (it's been 4 months easily) for my pearlberry to kick in.. At least it's got colour again.. It was a brown lifeless turd for a loooong time..

This is just pretty..

This guy is growing a bit. But it has lost a bit of the blue from the encrusting.. May need a bit more light..

Stunning mate! Just stunning, the colours and health of your acro's are top shelf stuff  some KILLER pieces in there though :lol2:

Great looking photos Matt. I would love a few of those pieces. Colors really are looking great.

Thanks, Micheal! Like I mentioned, I wish my pearlberry was doing what yours is!

Do you sell frags of any of these?

Well.. Sure except at the moment, they are all frags, themselves.. Hopefully they will get HUGE! :)

Looking good bud nice and healthy colors are great and nice pics as always
Thanks, man!

Thanks! Appreciate it. The beauty of shooting close up is that you don't have to show anybody the brown turds that surround each nice piece. :)

Ok.. I may have a couple more shots..
This guy has been sitting around for months as the base gets wider and wider. I think it's very close to taking off..
Another sleeper that has recently decided to get NOT brown..

And of course raja got me a sweet little ssc which is doing nicely..

Ok. Now I got two new frags this week from uncle raja.. They may be two of the nicest corals I have ever had in my possession..
I take no credit for the colour because they've been in the tank for less than a week but boy o boy I am excited about these two little pieces..
Deep water.. Just love this coral...
