LED lighting question

Jeremy,

I'm setting up a 26 bow-front tank that I want to light with LEDs. I was up in the store on Friday during the public hours but couldn't get much info out of the people working. The dimensions of the tank are 24"L x 15"W x 20"H. I will be keeping a mixed reef with many SPS as well as LPS and softies. Do you have a LED recommendation?

Hey, i was there friday also. picked up my t-5's and some rock. might have saw me. haha.

id say a AI would be a good fixture, heard nothing but great par numbers and i know they come in a variety of sizes

might want to look at the small ecoxotic fixture. should do a pretty good job. The AI is great but way over kill for the bow front.

I was thinking about building a canopy and retrofitting it with about 4 of the Ecoxotic modules. Think that would be enough light for SPS at the top?

With 4 or 5 fo the Eco Panorama modules I think you would be just fine with sps, and even a little lower in the tank than what you might expect. Does this tank have a center brace on it?

If the tank doesn't have the center brace then you might check out the Ecoxotic cannon if you really want to blast it, or the Ecoxotic retro for a more subtle light, and not so sps focused.
