White bar maculosus angels are all captive bred and are only available from EZ marines, Taiwan. You will never get a white maculosus from wild shipments from the red sea. so maybe you could ask your lfs to bring in ez marine shipments? Can you please shed some light on this fish for me? The largest fish that I'd considered adding to my aquarium were the Mac or Asfur, and ever since seeing your photo (on pg2 or 3?) of your previous white-bar Mac, I've wanted to track one down.
Sadly, I can't seem to find any of them stateside, and unless I know where the white version is collected, my wholesale rep has no clue about tracking one down for me :sad1: Other than in your thread here, I've never seen one.
this is so average compared to many of you guys here with thousand over gallon tanks!!That's what i call upscale equipment! i haven't seen a tank like that. not even a sump that looks like that. They all look like its custom made with the cabinet. If we could only afford something like that...![]()
So what ever happened to your dog? was he sick or just old age got into him? Sorry about your loss. i know how it feels to loose a dog specially if you're the one who took good care of him.
Hi Lemon,
If you don't mind me asking, how expensive and how available are the fish on the ezmarines site?
It seems really nice!
nope. not at all.Won't your twisti go after your shrimp?
After converting, it seems bloody awesome!!!
Be a total pain to get though. You ever thought about getting a Clarion?
The wrought iron would be nice but I'd go for the interruptus anyday  (dwarf angel prejudice)
Damn, heartbreaking. I work for the LFS and can tell you that the shipping costs from Taiwan would be a dealbreaker. I also do not have enough local customers with tanks suitable for med/large Angels, as the majority of locals do coral tanks rather than fish tanks, and are always scared that all Angel varieties will eat their coral. Oh well, they do offer quite a nice variety of Angelfish!White bar maculosus angels are all captive bred and are only available from EZ marines, Taiwan. The Daedalma is my #1 favorite fish, but over here it would seem their price is $1400-1600 for one specimen :fun2:the most i'll go for is wrought iron.
