One kicked the bucket, the other has been buried in the same spot for the last three days and I'm wondering if it is even still alive.

aww that sucks man. i was really hoping a DD chaoti would have worked out better. to be honest with you, at this poit no matter where it's coming from, with my experiences with leopards if i cant buy it at an LFS eating i'm not getting one. every one i have gotten online has died within a few days. the most i've had it live was a week. i have apotters now that i picked up from my lfs and it's probably one of the healthiest fish in my tank. i hope the chaoti you have now pulls through.

Yesterday I went to pick up a potter's that came in last week at the LFS, and both had died over the weekend. Yikes. The issue could always be something I'm doing, not necessarily a source issue. I'm still perfecting my science... I wish best of luck to whoever got the wrasses today... and shame on them for not speaking up yet :P

yup missed them again ,i guess i better check out the preview more often . my choati came out today and i fed him at 1pm whan i goy home at 4 he was under for the night .

I have a pair coming, I will keep you posted. It is summer time in OZ so now is a good time to acquire them.

Macropharyngodon bipartitus

bought it from LFS

At first it wasn't taking any frozen food, Then I mixed in some brine shrimp mysis and cylop with some garlic, and now she loves the frozen. Other tank mates are two other gobies. Only complaint I have is that she always sleeps really early so I don't get enough time to see her

I went to check and see if my female choati was still buried where she has been for the last three days straight (I could previously see her tail from looking under the tank through the stand). No sign of her tail. She must be dead. I scoured the tank looking for a body. No body. I checked my other fish... CBB, check... Tang, check... Clown trio, check... wait a minute... I only have two clowns... MY FEMALE CHOATI WAS OUT SWIMMING BY MY CLOWNS! LOL. That'll teach me not to wear my glasses in the morning. I almost had a coronary. While this is by no means a sign of success, this is 11 days, and she gobbled up PE Mysis soaked in Vitachem/Garlic Extreme/Selcon!!!

I AM SO EXCITED!!! Now someone tell me why I didn't buy the other two on DD yesterday????

Feed frequently, at least three to four times per day. Get her fattened up again.
