I kept thinking she was dead, It has been close to a month since last seen, today she was out for 1 hr 30 that i observed. Cruzing around picking at the pods, not frighted by me at all, and now just went to bed. I tried feeding mysis, tomorrow i will do Gut loaded brine shrimp.

thats great and for whatever reason they sometimes stay under the sand bed for just way to long and then appear like nothing ever happened .
best wishes

They must cause thats a long time. Their certainly strange little fish.

Pylos, that pic is awesome. The only thing that would make it better would be a Choati swimming with them.

yessssssss a choati too !its like they can hibernate because they usually pop out perfectly healthy and fat . i think they come out at night and do some forging for food when we dont "catch" them . they may be closet eaters then sleep and hide . it is quite amazing !

This is my leopard that I picked up a few weeks ago. She eats everything I put in the tank. She even gets in the mix with my two tangs when they eat the algae off the vegi clip. The first couple of days she just watched them like what are you doing.

@ Bradleyj, are you a professional photographer or something, your pics are always amazing!

@ javsku that's a beautiful Leopard, I love the shot with her mouth open.

LOL. I'm definately not a professional photographer by any means. I just practice alot on my tank and every so often luck out with a good picture. Just using my cannon xsi with the stock 18-55 mm lens, av mode, and then use Elements to sharpen them up a bit.
But thank you all for the compliments.

you have some awesome fish to photograph so that makes it a bit easier . whenever i try taking pictures of mine they all scurry out of my view once i hit the auto focus mode . it seems that they dont like whatever my camera uses to focus ,does any body else have this problem ?
