lepto placement - vertical?

Has anyone mounted their lepto to a vertical surface? I've got a couple encrusting montis gluef to my overflow that have taken off; want to know if I could do the same thing with a jack-o-lantern lepto frag I just picked up.

I have mine mounted vertically. Been about a month. So far so good, it has grown a bit.

Thanks; I might just have to do the same...it would be sweet to see a dish-size colony covering the overflow in a couple of years.
