SunnyX - thank you much. That means a lot, especially since it was your tank that first inspired me to go with the 60x36 footprint. Did you end up switching to T5s?

Actually i am moving soon so unfortunately I have dismantled and sold off most of the current tank.

But on a brighter note I called up Miracles today and ordered a new 48"Lx24"Wx20"H 110gl Starphire Rimless tank. :D I thought about ordering a larger rimless tank or keeping my current one but I really want to try something different. Ill have to get used to the smaller size but I know that within a year it will be a knockout tank. Besides, I can always go back to a larger tank later down the road.

As for T5's, the new tank will have a T5 fixture hanging above it. More than likely an Ati Powermoduale and a BK200 Mini skimmer. :D

How do you like you T5's so far?

Reeftanks6 - thanks much.

SunnyX - So far I'm loving the T5s. It amazes me I can get more than enough light for a 238g tank with only 650w of lighting. Can't wait to see your new tank up, have you started a build thread yet? :)

Thats awesome looking mike. I really dont think it could have been done much better.... besides maybe painting the walls Maize and blue lol

Wow great tank man. It looks awsome i would love to do that. Saw you were in chicago. Just wondering what your lfs of choice is?

Thanks all.

nanocube14 - Since I'm downtown I usually go to old town for fish since it is close by. I also like Ocean Design as it is pretty close. For corals I usually just trade with local people, altho I've picked up a few corals here and there, but don't really have a preferred store for corals. If you are ever downtown, swing by if you want a frag or two.
