Is this the store right by Munster, IN? I can't remember the name, father/son shop? I've been there a couple of times, they were just getting their acro display tanks up and running and it looked very promising if this is the same place. What a shame.

Yup, same one. That's when I picked up that sunset milli of yours. :D

ahhh, now I remember!! How's that doing for you?

I can't believe someone sabotaged their system!? That is just ridiculous! Any idea on who did it?

They say they have a few suspects but they will never find out for sure who was killing off their corals. That Sunset milli is one of my favorite millis and fastest growing too.

RKE is working well, altho I haven't had time to program much in yet. Its still basically a glorified temp/ph monitor and light timer. I didn't have time to get the CA reactor set up, but I did finally get my CO2 tank filled this weekend, so it should be setup sometime this week.

Ha ha! I was on your heels coming in to Old Town Aquarium! I am glad you got that Mata... I would not have been able to resist... and I need another tang like a hole in my head.

Your tank looks awesome.

I agree with your comments about Old Town Aquarium. I always walk out of there happy (poor... but happy).

Some guys I trust tell me that Six line wrasses are good at keeping pest snails and flatworms out of you tank. I have three in my tank right now. I just like them because they are cheap and fun to watch.

Haha yours too? What are your future plans for your RKE?

fishtruck - I've got a christmas wrasse that has the same rep re: pests. Altho once in the water column, the AEFW are fair game for many fish.

michika - I need to get the RKE set up to control the frag tank, go into a feed mode for fish (some pumps off), feed mode for corals (all pumps off), build an overflow sensor w/ auto shutoff for my skimmate collection, set up a touchscreen for controlling system (once RK-NET is released), and a bunch more I'm not recalling at the moment :)

set up a touchscreen for controlling system

Great idea! Hee..hee. You know that I now have to keep a towel draped over the screen because the fish have taken to splashing water out of the tank. It hits the screen and sends bizarre commands to the controller!

Nice Tang you got there. Hope it stays small though, 22 inches seems like a whole lot of fish. How has it been behaving so far?

One other question, are the T5 lights on the Sfiligoi dimmable?

The Mata won't make it past 7-8" before it finds a new home thats bigger :) I don't like fish that are too big - makes the tank look smaller. So far he's been a model citizen - I was worried about it having a disposition like a Sohal or clown tang, but so far so good...

The T5s on my version of the stealth are not dimmable (but there are 3 separate power plugs, so I immitate sunrise and sunset with that). I'm not sure but that the new Stealth units might be dimmable - I believe I remember seeing something about this, but don't quote me on it.

I'm with you on not liking fish that are too big also. The Sohal is by far my favourite Tang but it has a rep for being a meanie... not to forget that it gets real big.

Thanks for the input on the Stealth. Shall go do some research. And if i didn't already mention it, your setup is amazing. Definitely my fav on RC so far. Gonna have to "borrow" a few ideas for my new tank.

Just starting one as i type this. I'm trying to figure out how to use Sketchup since i don't have any actual pics to put it but i can't seem to figure out why my dimensions look so weird. I guess i'm going to have to get out the good old pen and start drawing.

My final sketch basically never ends up looking anything close to what i want it to look like. I basically get a bunch or lines. Thanks for the links. Shall get to work on it now.

Snapped a few pictures tonight. Was lazy and didnt bust out the tripod, so excuse the handheld blurriness.

Mata Tang showing off his colors (he more often than not is much darker).
