Not sure if you are still looking for a lift but the link below is what I ended up using to lift our 240 gallon tank. Basically a 450 LB material lift. If you know anyone who is in the IT field and their work has a server lift it would also do the trick.
Personally speaking the material lift did work although I didn't think it was the most safe way of doing it. My tank is built on plywood so all we did was lower the lift a tick below the shipping pallet and slide the tank onto the forks. Then raised it slowly a tick above the steel stand. Then slide it on. The more difficult part will be to move it into the house but the plan is to build a temporary stand out of 2x4's (mostly salvaged from shipping crate) and use a set of 500 LB casters I purchased.
This way I can just slide it onto that and move it into the house. At least that is the idea...we'll see.
Hmm. Never seen those before. Isnt it hard to look at that indicator while you are carrying the tank? Do you think all 4 guys need them for a 500lb 72x24x24, 3/4" tank?
