Ok very nice set up your water looks great, can you share you cleaning habits and show a few pictures of your equipment ? I like your coral selection and is that a stark damsel? What lighting is that halide or T5

Thank you for the compliments.

It's a Starcki damsel. He's gotten a bit bigger then expected

Sure, my husbandry/cleaning habits

Daily basis: Feed, and try to baste with a turkey baster

Weekly: Blast tank with a maxijet1200 to keep AEFW in check, replace the filter sock, run tests & update my log file (when I remember - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AiJkwwBTLCi7dG12ZFhsTXBGTUFZellSWTZ3QkhiLVE)

Bi-Monthly: 30g Water change (IO)

Every other Months: Replace carbon, rowa.

As necessary: Zap aiptasia, clean equipment, and sump

The lighting over the tank is 2x250w SE Radiums in Mini-Luminarcs for the last couple months I've been using a bluewave ballast I bought here from another RC member, before that I was using 2 generic ballasts with Radiums, prior to that I used a combo of t5, and DE haldies.

My Equipment is pretty basic. I'm running a SRO Skimmer, an ehiem pump which is split to go my frag tank, 2 part system off a ACJr, and a 2 chamber BRS Carbon/Rowa reactor, out of a 40g ballon breeder. Under the frag tank is a 5 gallon bucket for the ATO.

WOW, you sure have a lot going on in that little aquarium. Love what your Orange and Green Monti caps are doing in the back left corner. Acans In Acans out, tabling Acros and now it looks like you have just about one of every SPS frag in there. Great Colour!!

Three Cheers and Poutine for you!!

:)

Thanks for sharing all the information, sorry the read about the flatworms your tank looks amazing. I really like your radiums they really bring out the colors of your sps.

Wow, your tank looks really nice. I'm curious what you do for your nitrate control? Also do you feed your coral and if so how often? BTW I'm throwing my 65 in the trash after looking at yours lol

Looks amazing mate, just goes to show what can be achieved without taking a second mortgage to cover equipment....... thanks for sharing your tank with us :)

Thanks everybody for the kind words!

@DaKineReef The acans are split between the DT & my frag tank some of them just didn't like the high flow or got to big. My frag tank has sort of turned into an overflow tank more the a frag tank, and the acans that are in the main tank are off to the sides out of the flow. I also unfortunately lost a few when I had a bad batch of salt wreck havoc on the tank.

@Bill@IA I will take you up on your poutine! I do miss all my efflo/solis, that and loosing my wilso due to that bad batch of RSCP was a bit a low for my tank :(

@clowndude I don't do much for nitrate, bi-weekly water changes, filter socks, and light feeding keeps them hovering between 0 and 1. I do I feed my corals since I only feed the fish pellets & algae, or the occasional mysis to my lps. For coral feeding it's either oyster feast, or reef roids.

Decided it was a time for a like tank cleaning, it had been a while. Scarped the glass and moved a couple pieces around that were getting to much light.

Some quick updates from the other nite. Now with 20% cleaner glass!
