Lobo touched chalice- Chalice milky

Woke this am to a strand of guts from inside lobo attached to chalice and chalice was completely milky in coloration (Bright red usually) Was it digested over night?

I broke the string off or rather unlodege what was attached and it tucked back into the lobo

I have seen that happened before with one of my lobos and a frag of leptastrea. The part the lobo touched turn whitish then eventually killed that section. Your coral definitely got stung so I would monitor it and see what happens and make sure your parameters are excellent since you don't want any more stress. If the tissue starts receding past the stinging area and progresses fast I would frag the dead part off IMO. Just keep an eye on it and see what happens.
