Here's the grape, albiet a crude picture:

None of the other chalice. Never fragged any of these so no idea on prices. I'd have to research on these guys first.

After a bit of research, the grape may be Jayda's. I never really knew as it came from snipersps before it was LE and I knew it was pending LE status but I never followed up with him. I know he, Greg, and Jose trade a lot of corals and seem to recall him saying he got it from one of his buddies in SoCal back in 2006 or so. Perhaps someone with more knowledge of these can give me a better ID based on the picture posted.

Dave

Hello Dave,

can you save me a piece of my red stag you know i lost my colony long time ago and you was the only person who i trade a frag lmk who much?

Hugo:

I'll send you a frag gratis after it warms up a bit, OK? It is finally starting to turn red for me after how long (much redder than the pic you posted with white tips, almost like a mille but definately a stag)? If you want to return the favor, great, if not, that's cool too. I'll even cover the shipping. Any idea what the chalice I posted is since it came from you (see above, 2nd picture)? Thanks.

I think tha chalice is the Jayda or rasberry watermelon. sent you a pm

Gotta clean out some zoanthids this w/e. Not that I want to be inundated by large crowds, but $10 zoa frags this w/e only. Nothing is cut yet, but that won't be a problem. Lots of SPS too. Three hundred fifty-three fourty-six if you need to call.

Dave

Thanks to all who came by over the past few weeks to pickup frags. I think everybody left with at least one or two LE frags and several others and everyone seemed pleased with the purchases. I took a ton of frags of zoas, some SPS, few LPS, and other surprises to our LFS, so if you're interested in any of those, you may want to stop by and check them out. Merry Christmas!

Dave

Sorry I was "preoccupied" or I'd would have loved spending more time talking with you. I hope you enjoy that "steal of a price" rambleri but don't blast it with light (it's a deepwater afterall). It's my favorite of all and you were just in the right place in the right time on that one!

Dave

Sorry, totally forgot. Was up at 5:00 a.m. and didn't finish until about 9:00 yesterday evening. Long day and just slipped my mind. There's lots (probably like 1000+ polyps) now at the CR.

Dave

Due to more frags coming in from California next week, I'm offering the following up to folks if intersted:

True Acropora florida colony, probably 5", bright green, $40

5 PPE frag, $40

RandyO colony Acan lordhowensis (red/gray polyps), it has a bit of die-off at the top but the side polyps are OK and there are probably 40+ polyps that are in good shape but it does need a tank that doesn't have low nutrients unlike mine to really do well. This is one of the original Acan lords available in the hobby and I'll let it go for $65. Shown lower left:

Hollywood stunner chalice frags from snipersps. Here's Hugo's original colony picture (photo courtesy of Hugo) but mine's more purple/green:
green-purple-chalise.jpg

$20 frags unmounted

I can meet people near the CR tomorrow afternoon if interested or at the house over the w/e if interested.

I got a piece of the Hollywood stunner when I was at Daves a couple weeks ago, it is awesome you wont be dissapointed. I have bought several frags from Dave at different times and I have always been happy and corals are always healthy.

Dave I would like a frag of the hollywood stunner - but Would not be able to hook up with you until the weekend of the swap. Any chance you could hold a frag for me til then?? Let me know

Thanks

Here's a picture of the A. florida for those who might be interested:
florida.jpg

Sorry, the white balance was off as it is actually brighter in person and not as "washed out" looking. It's probably closer to 6" tall X 4-5" wide and very chunky like a A. florida should be.

Dave

what do you have coming in? guess its about time to get a frag of everything else I didn't get the first time! LOL!

I honestly don't know. It's better to let Hugo surprise me. I'm really just trying to help him out recovering from his tank crash of about a year ago. Last time he sent me a frag of a green-polyped red stag and a purple polyp nasuta along with some others. He mentioned something similar to the mystic sunset monti in the next batch, but who knows? Surprises are always best!
