He came in on some TBS (Tampa Bay Salt Water) rock. Every mantis I have ever found on this rock has been a Neogonodactylus wennerae. This one however is different. He is stripped. I can confirm that he is a smasher, and he is only about 1.25" long. His meral spots I thought were white, until I watched the video I took of him over, and over. In the video they almost look white with small purple centers. I will try to get better pics of him tomorrow after he wakes up. His coloring is a brick red with blueish green strips. Here are the pictures, and video I was able to get tonight. I know they wont help to much, but I tried to get the best pics.
My current thought is that it might be a male Neogonodactylus oerstedii.
Any help would be appreciated.
