This is getting old :sad1:
I went over and visited with a friend last night. After leaving his house and gawking at his amazing tank, I came back home to my empty tank and I have come to the conclusion that this is no longer fun.
I started to think of this ordeal as a challenge, but now its just getting old. I just spent another 3.5 hours in the garage with my hands in and out of dipping tanks and replacing corals back into the QT system. The good thing is that everyweek there are less and less corals to dip and replace. My advice to everyone else is do not attempt a task like this when you are not in the mood. Anything that did not look healthy, it got ditched.
I did just a revive dip this week and I did not find any AEFW or any eggs. This is dip #4. The display has been acro free for 21 days today. Depending on how the corals react this week, I might give them a weeks break and skip a week of treatment. I believe it was Ace (hobogato) who placed all of his corals back in his tank after 4 weeks because the corals were not looking so good. I totally understand as the percentage of corals I have lost is not very high, its just that they have taken a beating and they will have a long way to recover even when they go back into the display.
I did add another light today to provide more light. I do not know if this will help, but we will see.
