Nice stuff Mark... You and ...are on a roll :D

Thanks Steve, but since I will be chaging out my bulbs this week, I wanted to get a picture of most of the corals in the tank.

I did a 60 gallon water change. I really did not want it to be that big, but I decided to vacumn the sand bed in the back corners and I pulled the sand out of my fuge area. I noticed that there was a good amount of detritus in my fuge last week and once I saw that, I knew what had to be done.
Hi Mark, do you replace the sand that you vacuum out? Or are you in the process of going BB? I'm currently BB and enjoy the ease of vacuuming out detritus from the corners. I'm trying to figure out how I'd keep vacuuming out the detritus if I decided to add 1"-2" of sand.

With using a syphon tube, very little sand is actually removed. And for the record, the only way I'd go BB is when I am on my way out of the hobby. It works for some, but it's just not my taste. Some like Pepsi, some like coke and there are benefits to both ;)

Thanks Sara, and I am pretty sure you are right about the "crazy American" :D

I know it may not be much for anyone else, but when Alicia was over this weekend, my 2 year daughter Emma wanted to show her vocabulary off. Paul and I were out in the garage, so Emma stayed in the house with her good friend Alicia. I guess Emma was giving Alicia a tour of her tank when she pointed at a fish and said,

"Joc-u-lat-or"

Yes, Joculator was her first four syllable word. She can aslo say "dussumier", "foxface", "anthia" and her favorite fish because its usually at her level, "goby". :p

 She almost got it the last time I was over. Go Emma!!!

It was clear as day when it popped out of her, she pointed right at the gorgeous Joculator in Mark's tank and said it...I got the biggest kick out of it. I just love her soooo much. What a sweetie, even when she belts out a good cry, lol

BTW, That looks like my Grany in the photo above ;)...awesome colros on her.

Yep, that granny is such a cool piece, but you have all the cool pieces ;)

It was that time again. I've had my bulbs on my tank for 9 months and over the last couple of weeks, the tank has been losing some of its blue tint and the red corals do not pop quite like they used to. I guess it was time for another round of these:
