I agree! I saw one at a LFS that was bigger than that ... good pan frying size! Scared the crap out of me for adding the pair I have in my systems sump to any tank! They can get mean too!
Did you guys see the video of them at a fish market in Japan? If I find it I'll post the link.

I tried to fish it out last week, but with the new wrasse addition, I did not want to spook the tank that much. Its definitly coming out one of theses days.

Good morning Mark, Got my tickets for the Steinhart (for Thursday), any tips of things I should check out there? I know that you're in Sac-town but any recommendations of LFS that I could "accidently" stumble across while I'm up there? We're driving up so anything south of the city is fair game. I'm thinking maybe Atlantis.

Ocean Treasures in the City is always worth a trip. There are a couple more as well. Aquactic central had a nice sizes black tang when I was there last week. There are so many cool things at steinhart to see. A couple of my favorites is the ventralis/helfrichi wall display, the sea dragons and the 200,000 gallon display :eek1:

Thanks Dan for the link. That reminds me of the raw tang and parrot fish we ate in Tahiti.

Yeah, when I visit my relatives back in Hawaii there is usually a fishing trip and a fish fry. All I can think about now is "wow that's a $XX fish at my LFS".

Mark, The mix of colors in the last two pictures are fantastic.

thanks Dan, I'll take colors over growth any day of the week :p

What's up with the litter on the sand??? You are almost as bad as I am, almost. I'll take them to keep your tank looking a little bit neater :D

That sounds like trouble; so when is the upgrade ;)

Fantastic Tank Mark! I guess the beauty of it all helps you to stay in the game... Not to mention the dollars spent :) Both help to keep my focus
