Maroon won't eat anymore

I have a maroon for about 4 months - he's been eating everything, flake, mysis, homemade shrimp, clam, mussel cocktail. The only thing that is different is a little change to the rock set up but he is still guarding his same old spot.

Now he won't eat for 4 days now. I tried brine to simulate, he did eat that but won't eat anything else.

Two false percs and a blue damsel are eating fine.

what is your salinity and temp?

You have two percs in with a maroon? How big is the maroon?

Yeah dkh. Temp is 77. Middle to high range - I forget exactly.

You know it could be the lower temp. It's running alittle cooler than normal.

Yeah the clowns all get along fine- amazing. The false percs are tiny, the Maroon is 3 inches. They were all put in the tank at the same time.

You may want to consider putting the maroon in QT. Since he will only eat brine shrimp, you can try soaking that in selcon.

Middle to high range for salt really doesn't tell me much. If your doing water changes and using a middle to high range target, you could be changing the tanks salinity too fast. I target 1.026, I double check my reef tank and water change tank to make sure they match before the water change. The same could be happening with the temp.
