Mate for Snow Onyx

Hi guys, in anticipation of moving things over to a bigger tank (and the original tank being in the way) I moved everything to a big tub. Well my female snow onyx took a ride into the skimmer intake :-(
What would be an acceptable replacement? Something quite similar in appearance so my 5y/o daughter doesn't think any things happened. It was a silly error on my part and my heart breaks for my daughter. -B

Another snow onyx? You can try onyx-picasso clown or a snowflake. A smaller one would be safer to pair up with the surviving male.

I live in New Zealand and it's so hard to find anything, so just need to make sure what becomes available, when/if it becomes available, will be able to match with the occy/perc hybrid.

Do you have pictures of the fish? If so I'd take it to your lfs and see if they can get you something to come close to matching. I also agree with getting a small one to make sure its not changed to female giving you a better chance at a pairing.
