Maxspect Mazarra.

Wow i havent even gotten mine yet and i want to return it already! i only ordered the single set up to do some par tests and then use on a frag tank.

Hi all,
I receved UPS's tracking number from Fins Reef LLC at 15 september and from salty supply at 20 september.
But, It is not updated at all.
Aren't there those who had the same experience as me?

In the announcement of Japanese distributor, it was said that the program of a cooling fan had issue. (In Japan, it has not been shipped yet.)

Is the delay in shipment caused by it?

+1 paid 2 months before release date, and nothing in hand.....buyers remorse before getting them. Out of patience.
 
I see potential in these lights. I mean I was the guinea pig and received the first shipment of black units. I believe there is already a recall on the ball joints which I had problems with. They need to either use a different type of paint/packing material to prevent the rails from getting scratched up before even mounting them.

Improvements I would like to see would be:

-Smaller spacing of the led's on the module, I think the wide spacing makes for too much of a spotlight effect.
-Better machining of rails, the for example the rail mounts modules took a lot of effort to slide.
-Ball joint (I think they already addressed that problem.)
-More cable holders to keep the cords neat behind the mounting rails.
-More secure water tight seal on the module face. They had about 16 black O-rings that if I didn't notice a bunch fly off the first time I swapped out the optics, I may have overlooked it.

Things I liked:

-It was bright and the coverage with the 100 degree optics was awesome.
-They looked really good and the led panel on the modules to display temperature was cool.
-The controller was awesome
-Simplicity/Customizability in swapping optics/led's




I really didn't want to return them because the controller was awesome after getting used to it. Things in time hopefully will get tweaked out and become very competitive. I think the lack of confidence in customer service to be able to handle my problems made me return them the most. I pre-ordered the radion so hopefully it can match up.
 
Has anyone been able to get a hold of Finsreef? I've been trying for about a month now. Not a huge issue but would like an answer....
 
Chris, are you selling direct...from your sight it looks like you're a wholesaler. Will we still buy these from finsreef, or somewhere else?
 
We only sell our products through distributors and retail stores. As of right now, Marine Depot will be the first distributor to take delivery around the second week of November.

Wow thats an amazing step in tge right direction!!!! i have octopus skimmers and chris has always been extremely responsive to my questions and problem resolutions.
