I set up a tank for a mantis. I ended up ordering a wennera mantis from Tampa Bay Saltwater. I ordered her Friday and she showed up on my doorstep the next day. She is a beauty. She is about 2 inches long and is blue/green.

She had taken up residence under a rock in the front of my tank. She has already been out hunting. Poor limpet probaly never new what hit him.

Are you sure it is a female? That color pattern in Neogonodactylus wennerae is more typically male.

TBS said that she is a female, but if not no biggie. I would not know what to look for. How can you tell between a male and a female.

Actually.....when I told you I picked a "girly" beauty...I ment for as in colored for a girl...pretty......not sex!
