Im looking to try out Metal Halide.
Ive gone thre LEDS T5ho and now id like to try MH.

Iv been reading and reading.

Im wondeing what some of you well seasoned sps keepers are running.

My tanks is 36"x36"x18tall"

Id like to hit some par number at the bottom of my tank that i never could with t5ho and leds.
Im looking to hit 350+par at the bottom of my tank with hanging it at LEAST 6" away from my tank

Im wondering if this is possible with MH. If so what some of the current GOOD combos in terms of ballest bulbs and reflectors.

Wait... Wait...

You mean you're ditching LED's, "THE" lighting system of the future???

I have a Phoenix 14K 150 watt over my BC29. I've been using this for over 4 years and the corals couldn't be happier!

What LEDs were/are you using, 350 should be easy for any of these technologies in an 18" deep tank as long as the fixture properly covers the tank.
