Mike's 200g

Mike! These are stunning.
Your corals are looking superb.
If I had corals that were looking horrible while the rest looked like this, I'm sorry to say, they'd be outta there..

Nice Efflo, I just picked up a nice pizza slice last weekend. Do you have a FTS so I can see where you placed it?

The last fts I took was back on page 8 I think. I have it slap bang in center of tank fairly low down. Truth told it's placed there more for growth form and structure of the overall look of the reef rather than what's best for it. Could it do with more light... Most likely. It also is between the 2 larger rock structures so it isn't really getting a ton of flow. I actually have to use turkey baster to blow junk of it fairly regularly. Mine was a pretty good size almost perfect round circle when I got it... But it has grown well and colored up loads. I have had it over a year now. It used to be in my 90. Seems pretty hardy. You can also see it in other pictures through the thread to give you a better idea. It has only been in one place in this tank. Never moved it.

Sick colors mike:inlove::inlove:
99% it's a sarmentosa:)
Ahhhh,that pearlberry pic!
You have great photo skills too:thumbsup:

I second that about the Pearlberry - one of my all time favorites:) Now I just need mine to grow out like that one!

Merry Christmas, Mike.
I hope the big blue present behind the tree is for me.
It looks like a flatscreen tv!
That's a very pretty holiday scene.

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year. Love the latest photos. The SPS are looking great despite issues.

Haha thanks. Not a flat screen tv. A little kids basketball hoop for my son. My wife was not happy I didn't remove the blue presents before taking pictures because it "doesn't go with the red, white, green and gold color scheme"

You have an amazing setup! beautiful tank

Thank you.

Hi buddy, I hope you had a good Christmas 2. Thanks yeah the tank and corals have all been looking good this whole time I just a had a few randomly stn on me and I have no idea why. Hopefully it has stopped now. The AEFW are the other issue and I'm not sure if it's a major problem right now or not. The only 2 corals I saw bites on have been dipped and I couldn't spot any eggs........ Doesn't mean they are not there though.

awesome tank!
Sucks about AEFW. My tank got infected with it from locally purchased frag.

Hi thanks for the comment, nice to see another reefer fram Kirkland!
If the AEFW are there I don't see too much damage at the moment. I haven't noticed bites on any other corals just the 2. Both have been dipped and I don't see eggs so fingers crossed.

Tried a few FTS before the new year so I can compare at the end of 2016. Unfortunately the Christmas tree did not allow to get full front on shot.

I'm impressed with your awesome SPS collection. I hope you got rid of AEFW.
That Maricultured hyacinthus in above, did you acquire from BRS?
I got a similar looking piece. When i bought it, it had light yellow body with dark blue long tips. Now it turned green/orange body with slight hint of blue in the tips.
