Minimalist Aquascaping

Went into the build thinking that I'd go ultra-minimal, but I ended up somewhere in between...

Are you kidding? Your scape looks great. Let me guess, you had a rock wall before, and your having a hard time adjusting? All joking aside, the tank looks clean and neat, your fish will be happier, and your coral will have more room to grow. The cool thing about the "minimalist" approach with aquascaping is that the tank usually ends up looking more like a piece of art work than an aquarium.

Great Thread!

Guy.. Thanks for posting a follow up pic. The tank looks great! I hope more people follow in your footsteps and post updates!

Shiver - I really like it. Is that a 65 gallon by chance?

Raindog - Very nice too. I really like the lower scapes. You'll love the breeder! What lighting do you have?

Thanks Greech,

I'm currently running ten XP-G R5 whites and ten XR-E blues on a 6x10 sink but I'll likely add a few more later or perhaps a couple par38's.

Thank you. I so wish I could DIY some LEDs. The LED technology and all the terminology just escapes me though :). I love the look of your tank. Good luck with everything!
