Minimalist Aquascaping

Here is my second minimalistic aquscaped reef tank.

Its a 240g cube with 48"x48"x24" measurements with only 100 lbs of dry Key Largo Marcorocks.

Here's my 29 gallon. It's nothing like any of these beautiful tanks posted here but i consider it just ok at best. I'd like some ideas as well for the left side. I like the right side but the left just isn't cutting it. Let me know what you guys think! thanks!

Hey Felix,
this is also a 29g that I just set up this weekend. (Please excuse my particulate filter and cloudy water.) It's a bit of a difficult size. I tried to divide the tank into thirds and put something interesting in each third. Also, I balanced each side with something different but of equal weight. So, the left side has the darker, denser lateral rock with a lot of fingers sticking out, and the right side has a little more mass, but it's visually lighter because the rock has holes and sloping movement. And of course, I tried to create some foreground and background at the base of the arch so that it doesn't look too flat.

It's not phenomenal like many of the tanks in this thread, but it makes me happy.

Thanks, E. I'm pretty happy with it. I tried to use composition principles that I learned in a photography class 25 years ago (we used film and a dark room, if you're old enough to remember such things).

That last tank is Downhillbiker's 200 gallon deep dimension, and I agree that it is 'scaped very nicely!
