Minimalist Aquascaping

This is my newest setup 75g. (48x18x20) just redone my aquascaping with my interpretation of minimalistic. Any critique or ideas for improvement are welcome. It is currently empty because it just finished cycling

Here is my 75 gallon. That is over 100lbs of rock, so I feel like it is pretty minimal for what is in there. Am I stretching to far to say so?

I am scaping my 180 tonight though, so that one will be really good now that I have some practice!

I like the rockwork in your 75g. It's pretty minimal in that it's not a wall of rock.

It'll be nice to see the 180 up.

This is Dizmal btw :wavehand:

There are so many beautiful setups in here. Here is mine in it's early stage. I'm waiting on a little more rock. Please excuse the dirty walls. This is post breakdown of my last setup. Some of the pesky corraline is still stuck on the back so I need to go back and clean better.

It's going to be a macroalgae tank for the most part with some euphyllias and some NPS inverts.

I plan on doing something with that right side. Not sure what. I may put a larger rock in the open space and make a large sand dune up to about 6-7 inches so only the top half of the rock is showing on that side and have the sand gently slope back towards the level it is on the left. I want to place tube anemones on either side of that rock, hence the deep sand. Ideas are appreciated = )

The left side is going to be home to halymenia, red grape, ochtodes, and some of the non-racemosa grape caulerpa. I'm also going to get some aquamags (artificial rocks with magnets) to place along the back wall in the upper levels of the tank for brown macros such as sargassum. Along the wall on the back right and far right I'm going to grow some sort of long bladed caulerpa. I haven't decided whether I'll use prolifera or mexicana. I'll need to trim it often to keep it when I want it. LPS will go wherever I decide I have room.

As far as livestock who knows. I change my mind on a regular basis.

Hi guys,

I just want to share with you some pictures from my little bonzai in progress. I think the design fits to the title.

Thanks,
RiffAq
