great looking tank
How are you feeling about your current bulb combination? Still likin' it?
Hey Tran,
just found your thread and WOW... really coming along nice!
You've done some creative things there with the wicker basket to cover the top off water, my wife would love that! I need to figure something out like that for my chiller. Haven't had to use it yet but now that I'm running 400w Radiums vs the 250's I'm pretty sure I'll have to hook it back up now.
Anyhow, I'll be taggin along to see how thing progress!
Hi Dave, thanks for the kind word. I've been following your thread and it's been very inspirational.
I think there's so much to be learned from one another and that RC and other forums like them are such a powerful learning tool for all reefers of any level of experience!~

Hey mnm great tank. I was looking through your thread and was trying to find what rock and salt you are using because everything looks great.

MNML,
Really like the way the tank has progressed. What ATO system are you using? I might be needing one very soon. Thanks.
Hopefully my clowns will host this Frogspawn![]()
Got some goodies from my wife for V-day
Pretty cool blue color SPS

How did she know exactly what you wanted :love2:
It's beautiful... I'll be waiting for that to grow out for a frag!
Glad you settled on your lighting and it's doing well... I'll have to copy you of course![]()
I have been silently following along... you're tank looks great and well thought out.
It will be great to see them settle in the frogspawn. Up until recently I kept going back and forth between planning for a gigantea anemone or frogspawn for my clowns in a 75G. I recently came to my senses and realized the gigantea will be too big.. hopefully they will accept frogspawn or a nice frilly mushroom.
Looks like a blue voodoo staghorn. Very nice looking coral. I'd love a frag myself. They sell online for about 50 bucks!
Sweet presents Tran!![]()
Hi MNML. Gorgeous tank !! I noticed you were considering adding a screen. I can't bring myself to add one on my Rimless Elos tank, but there are fish I'd love to get but can't consider because it's open, like the majority of Wrasses...so that's a bit of a bummer. I was surprised to see the McKoskers wrasse in your tank. Beautiful fish but I'd be afraid he'd jump. I'd be interested to see if you or someone else comes up with a design for a screen that doesn't take away from the beauty of a Rimless tank. Pam

You guys are crackin' me up! :twitch: Now, our schedules may be a little different... but there is nothing to admire about my tank (weekdays) between 9pm (tank lights out) and 5pm (slept at night and just getting home from work)... That's 20 hours of no tank viewing and prime jumping time with no help in sight! I know it's agonizingly difficult... :rolleye1: but you can remove the screen and put it back on for those glorious few hours you actually get to see your tank.
I would rather not come home to a dried out fish on the floor...
I'm done.
