I gotta say, if I found something like that in my tank I would be pretty freaked out. But rest assured, my bengel cat would make quick work of it!

Mojo that's a nice tank and sump on my next tank i plan on ordering from miracles, they get rave reviews.

I had a friend reach In his Overflow box on his 180 and grabbed on to something and when he pulled It out It was a Eunice that was around 5' long and nearly gave him a heart attack. He brought It to the Frag swap In Knoxville In a 5gal bucket still alive and It was nasty.
Congrats on the wedding and getting the new tank up and good luck on the rest. Also wanted to LYK that BB pump was a straight swap, Just needed to sand a 1" piece of PVC down on one end to make It fit like stock. The pumps are actually the same size and height, Just needed to rotate the volute to the top of the BB to make It work like It was made for It. Can't wait until It breaks In now:dance: Looks like a great match like you said!

Hey Mojo, nice tank! That black silicone makes a sick difference. How thick is the glass? Starphire all the way around?
 
awesome miracles tank, loving the rimmless look, great looking stand too! i see that you had waiting a while for yours to be shipped too, i hate waiting, today is the day i receive mines!!

interested in how the eductor will work out, cant wait to see when you fire up the pump!

did you use any foam underneath the tank?

I didnt do the starphire. I thought about it more and more and how it is really nice I just couldnt bring myself to do it. I think it will be just as nice without it.

Glass is 1/2 inch all the way around. Pretty heavy little sucker. Not too heavy but just heavy enough to let you know its solid . thats for sure. Ok I am hoping by noone to putting livestock in it today.

Yea I am curious about it as well. I did not do the foam. I thought about this as well. and well it raised the tank up enough to where I could see the black trim so I didnt use any. Not a big deal. But I have tried to think about anything and everything for this. I want to make sure I am happy with it.

If I dont like the flow acc. I will just run down to the lfs and get the dual fan loc line assembly. But I thought I would give it a whirl. I thought running the ehiem 1260 will be good for low flow in the sump and the extra flow in the tank is always nice.
 
ThanksI am hoping so. The Wife came around and was checking out last night. Not saying alot. OTher than, are you going to need a new light? is that one going to be big enough? I assured her it would be ok, But I could buy a new one if it made her feel better :) lol
 
lol yea I was re using all my sand and stuff and there is so much life in it. Crazy. Running a bunch of carbon on it right now. Full of water and everything is good thus far/ :)
 
that is looking mighty superb!! your stand is wicked nice, very glossy :)

so... what are you thoughts on the eductor?
