This made me laugh, was it a shallow tank
18 inches tall. In my defense, the guy I bought the mystery wrasse from said he kept it with cleaner shrimp for years with no issue. Pricey snack indeed....

My Tasseled wobbegong is still the most I've ever spent. He is 5 years old and now 46 inches and weighs around 40 lbs. i was spending about $10 a week to feed him before I started catching my own fish to feed him. I put well over $1000 down his belly. He ate a 16 inch bluefish last night.
Are you serious? I've never even heard of one before until I just googled it. Would love to see a photo of your tank, must be huge !
No intent to hijack this thread - I will have to post recent pics, but looking back - the thread is a good read.

If you think these are you should check the prices of Japanese Koi Fish. There have been some go for over 1 miliion $.
Any of my expensive/favorite fish that die get vacuum sealed and put in the freezer. I have a hard time letting go! LOL
Not me, but I loved my friend's response to this question:
It was a $15 neon cleaner goby that brought ich into his system that eventually spread to 95% of his fish(over 50 of them), killing them all. Most expensive fish/lesson ever!
Mine was a $40 regal angel when the bag leak in the sump While doing temperature acclimation before putting it on a bucket ... Lost a lot of expensive fish
I spent $17000 on a mated threesom of upside down clowns with inverted colors.
