Damm Auto Correct Can you convert a MR2 to a MR 2-R
I had similar issues with the MR1 running on the recomended blueline 40. I never could get it to foam right. I just got rid of it. They seem to be great skimmers, I just couldn't get mine to work well. The replacement is kicking some serious a** however. Good luck

Check out my beckett being run on a pump only pulling 37watts.
This is a triton 5 and the dc5000 is even more of a beast and both can run becketts
at very cheap electric rates.
I ran this skimmer with a 200watt pump and this cheap little pump runs it better.
NEWSALT all becketts must have the water level lower then the becketts are.
The water level should start at the box you can raise it up but never
higher then the becketts.
The higher you make the beckett tower the better it will perform.
Adding even a foot will increase its power.
I prefer to run my becketts open without a neddlevalue just remove them
and try it that way.
Very easy to setup any beckett....water level at the box....beckettts
open works better for me.
