Okay I just finally got my 6000's hooked up. Anyways I am totally german illeterate i guess cause i cant understand how I should be setting this thing up.

I have two pumps and they are facing each other. I was thinking of having one pump 30% while the other pumps 100%. Then they switch, back and forth from 30 to 100. Now I can only get them to work at the exact same time. IE they are both at 30 and then both go to 100. How do I set them up to alternate?
Thanks

One pump in socket 1 Channel 1 set at 30%- 100% and the other pump in socket 3 Channel 2 set at 100%-30%. The program switch should be in pulse mode- middle position.

Okay, but now if I am using the photocell how does this work? Because doesnt the photocell just make it so that at night it runs 4b, 6b(in ur manual)? So it will run 30% and 100% all night?

Is there a way to make it so that at night both are calmer or am i going to just have to live with it that way?
I am trying to figure out the best setup for my SPS 120gal tank. I like the flow, I thought it would be more actually... but relieved that there are no sandstorms so I am happy with that. Only prob i noticed is i cannot hit the feed button because my lyretail blenny ran right into one of the pumps when i did! Good thing i was watching.

It will not be possible to run the pumps in this manner with the ideal night mode. However, Night Mode should still be effective in the sense that the flow is more laminar and calm. In the confines of an aquarium and considering the nocturnal increase in CO2, sometimes a very low flow night condition can be dangerous.

We know about the hazard of stopping the pumps in relation to certain fishes. We tried to find a solution but all possibilities restricted flow substantially. The fishes that are most at risk are those that dwell in acropora heads in the wild as the light entering through the intake slots closely mimics this. Most fish however are safe.
