Mutt's Build - IM's New Fusion 40

How are you customizing your media basket? Would love to know as i just ordered one for my IM nuvo sr-60.

On one side I'm using poly-filter on top then a bag of carbon and purigen on the bottom. The other side I'm using filter floss to polish, poly-filter in the middle, then a bag of phosguard.

Poly-filter - because seem to have good results. When I stopped using it the tank did not look as clear. It changes different colors depending what is in your water.

Purigen - For nitrates

Filter-Floss - Polishing

Phosguard - I needed to get my phosphates down quick. I may take it out and use only GFO to maintain.

I may use the new Chemi-pure blue after I do more research.

Haha.. I'm still waiting for my tax return. I will upload it so you can take a look. Still playing with the color and intensity.

I would be interested in seeing it. These lights are a little above my skill level, but I am learning and playing around with them. I am currently using a RC's program that I like, just turned down the intensity.

I saw that chemipure blue the other day, was reading about it too. I have the elite that I am going to run for a little and see how that goes, but the blue looks pretty nice.

Got rid of the cables and made my own brackets for less than $15 at home depot. A little imagination and elbow grease...

Cant wait to get mine!!!!

have a little water damage on the back wall.. gotta shutoff the skimmer, cover tank, open windows, and roll some kilz...

I had a overflow box and it caused a lot of drywall damage the moisture got behind the tape and lifted it and ruined about a 1 foot square area of drywall.

I think that not having a tank filled with water the first night it arrives to a house is almost as serious as drinking another man's beer!! Get that tank filled!!!

The aquamaxx is leaking? Did I read that correctly?
