I run radium 250w 20k metal halides on m80 ballasts. I made my own reflectors out of hammertone and copied the luminarc design. Should be on page 1 of my build thread in regards to the reflectors.
I thought you said do you ever feed... not find. No, I bought one labeled as one and it is awesome but I don't think it is a lemon drop.
Little update... something I'll be working on over the next week. I need to find some eductors and more than a couple bulkheads.
Thinking two drains, two closed loop intakes, 4 closed loop outputs, 8 eductors, and twin return pumps.
 to be fair I didn't say I would be done in a week. I have actually done quite a bit of work to the setup. I have all of the parts and lighting. 2x250w radiums + 6x39w t5.
I've also made a stand... Complete with pocket dcrews and all. I can't paint it yet because eventually its going to go in the basement. If I finish the stand and glue the legs it won't fit down the stairs... It's my excuse and im sticking to it I'll be making the livestock transfer by the weekend*
On top of that you guys have been hounding me for over a year to get some clowns... Good things for those who wait, i'm picking up a bonded pair of Sustainable Aquatics "frozen" Frostbite clowns today from a local reefer .
I was mistaken, I had the wrong photo... They are not the frozen variety but are really cool looking frostbites and the price was right so I went ahead and pulled the trigger.
The male is pretty skinny, more than I would have liked.. I plan on feeding a mixture of frozen 3-4x a day until they are nice and plump, they have a veracious appetite. When they were acclimating in the bucket I fed some hakari mysis and they went to town on it. In case the male is skinny from worms I went ahead and dosed Prazipro. I suspect it's just a case of the previous caretaker not feeding enough .
Any suggestions for a grazing fish? I was thinking one of the white tail bristletooth tangs but i really need something that is used to and can safely maneuver around the nems.
