My 180 4sided viewable in-wall build

Hey, beautiful tank, I am in the process of getting equipment together for a 180 build, can you please post up your full fish list?

Thank you for the complement!

A full fish-list (from memory) as requested; inlcuding the "still looking for.." fish.

Current fish:
Yellow Bellied Hippo
Yellow Tang
UnNamed Anthais (4x) - trying to remove them with fish-trap.
Royal Gramma
Flame Wrasse (Hawaiian - currently foresale as pickup)
melanurus wrasse (2x) - not mated (yet?)
Yellow-Tail Tamarin Wrasse
Potters Wrasse
Tail Spot Blenny
Yellow Watchman Goby
Aura Goby
Yellow Asessor (2x)
Bangai Cardinal

Looking for the perfect
CBB or Marginalsis (preferred)
Hawaiian Flame Angel
Red Tail Tamarin Wrasse
Regal Angel (Red Sea) - this will be a huge "cross fingers and hope" fish

This is awesome! Are you dosing in this tank? Love the way the tank is placed!

Thank you.

I am dosing this tank. It is pretty much a FaunaMarin driven system... I do not run the ultralith system as I can maintain the colors and the nutrients where I want without, however I have run this in the past.

I dose;
MINs, AMIN, BAK, ULTRAMIN, ULTRAORGANIC, Calcium, ALK, MG, Power-Trace (all three). All from FaunaMarin.

I have 12 dosing pumps from GHL and a controller that keeps it all going. It was a large investment in controllers and pumps, but in the end it keeps things moving along well. I was able to pickup a pair of 4-pump dosing units used and in excellent condition which helped.

Thanks a bunch! I really hope that mine looks close to this in a few years, I think it will start cycling around Christmas. Keep it up and throw up pictures anytime!

I don't think there's anything left to say that's not already been said in this thread in the way of compliments on the build, your attention to detail and drive for perfection.

I've only just read the thread (in entirety) over the past few days and it's been better than any book I've read lately. :)

Thanks for sharing all the gritty (gory?) details and for helping us all learn from what you've done.

Yet another great inspiration for that project build I've started collecting parts and ideas on. :)

Keep it coming!

Tim, amazing pictures!!! I apologize if this has been asked but I was wondering what bubls you are using and are you supplementing with any kind of leds? Just switched back to all t5's and still trying to dial in my bulb combination but I am finding that some of my fish colors are a little flat in the early and late parts of the day when just my blue+ bulbs are on. I am thinking about adding a reefbrite strip to see if that will bring some pop to their colors.

Tim this is simply stunning. Do you have a full tank shot? I want to see how it has grown in around your plumbing. You did a fantastic job and have e considering closed loop again for my new build

Thank you very much for the kind words. I was inspired and helped by so many from this forum there really isn't anything original in my build but it is mine and we (faimly) are very happy with it.

Actually I just switched out to Ecotech Radions G1's over the tank last week. I am still playing with the setup but I do like them very much. I could not say if they are good or bad, but they are colorful.

I'll have to look up what my combo was but it was VERY blue.

Thanks, there is a recent FTS on the prior page of this thread, and I'll post more shortly as the new Echotech Radion's are now over the tank and the colors are just fun.

Cheers and thanks very much for the compliments.

Tim,

The tank is looking great. Glad to see that you're sticking to it.

I know how you feel - I lost almost all of my corals over the last year and pretty much gave up on the tank. I decided to try and bring it back from the dead, but I've got a long road ahead of me.

We'll have to try to get some fishing in this year.

Cheers,

Jerry

Thanks Jerry. Yes, lets definitely get out and float some flies...

It's always something with the tank isn't it. Its great when things are ticking along but it seems that its far and few occasions when that happens... always something that you're trying to avoid or trying to recover from. LOL.
