My 180 4sided viewable in-wall build

Who built the aquarium for you? Very nice aquarium by the way, love the rock work.

The glass is from Miracles. Very professional IMO.

The rockwork is custom from my own vision... it works well.. hides the plumbing and that's what I wanted.

Thank you for looking.

Tim, amazing tank. Any updates?
I would LOVE to see some super wide angle shots that showed as much as possible of both rooms. It's obvious you built the tank to fit the decor of the house. Love it. :)

Update Soon...

Hi Tim,

Hope you had a great summer. Any chance we might see/learn more about the new Radions?

Hope all is well with you and your tank.

Guys/Gals. I've really let my maintenance go... There will be no photos...

The transition to the Radion's was painful. I put them on WAY WAY to long and WAY WAY Too high... killed off a bunch of corals...

In parallel, I added a pair of LongNose Hawk fish to the system... who went uber agressive on all fish (yeah, go figure... took me forever to find out it was them cause who knew?... not me... ) anyhow, they killed off most of my fish.

Which allowed the AEFW and Monti Eating Nudi's to get out of control...

So i wasn't very happy with the system...

I've re-invested time and energy and expect to have a good looking system by January....

Its a sad sad story... and IMO another example of what happens when you get lazy in this hobby... I got lazy... and it's hurting.

Also, looking for something that will replace my two CL pumps (HammerHead Golds) for a lot less wattage... but not able to jump on the Abyzz pumps due to crazy prices... if anyone knows of a pump let me know.

Have you looked into any of the Waveline/Speedline DC pumps? I think the next gen just came out and they make some that can push some serious flow.

Right now the $$ is not there nor is the performance.

Waveline DC-12000 is the top end pump in terms of flow delivering a theoretical 3175GPH @ 100watts

A Super-Dart Gold will get you up to 4300gph @ 175watts.

Maybe the DC-20000 will provide something, but it'll have to make up 1200gph in well under 75watts to be competitive to Reeflo...

After the holidays likely. Right now its time for family and friends and alcohol that make me tolerate family and friends.

Happy reefing to all and to all a good nite.

Tim,

Tank is looking fantastic! You've come a long way!.

As I mentioned on OVAS - still trying to get mine back on track. I'm slowly starting to reintroduce corals to the system.

Cheers
Jerry

Hi Tim,
Glad to see you are still running your tank. Mine has come a long way since we last spoke but I've still got lots to learn before I get it looking anything like yours.

Do you have any recent/semi-recent photos online we could look at of your system?

I have to say from the look of your update it doesn't look like you had any problems. Color is looking good and the fish look healthy also. Great update.

haha, thanks. but there are a few damaged spots here and there that show the signs of neglect... thankfully things are very much on the mend and i'm pleased so far with the progress of a few weeks consistent care and feeding.. ;)
