also, you set the stand right on the carpet? how do you not make a mess from WC's and random splashes?

I bought some black rubber mat from menards in the carpet area, but that down first (had about a foot coverage around the base of the tank). When i moved and rremoved the old 95G I had there for years, the carpet was fine, it even kept it from getting crushed from the stand being directly on it.

Your Octopus 200 maybe a bit small for that tank unless you are going to add another one.
