My 280g Custom upgrade.....

Best of luck Steve. I hope everything runs smoothly and you're able to be back with another jaw dropping system.

Here's to the next evolution!

Congrats, all the best to you! Sounds like a good plan on your corals, and I think it is great that you care for your captive charges the way you do!
Thanks Muttley....I've been thru so much with the corals and the ones that I was able to save have really rebounded nicely and I would hate to just sell them to anyone that thinks they can keep SPS at this point. I have a few local guys that are very succesful and know that the sps will be in good hands with them.

Congrats! I hope you can get what you want for the house! If you make it through Charlotte on the way down or once you are down here let me know!

Doug, I cant wait to get up there and see your tank! My cousin goes to school in Charlotte now so I have multiple reasons to take a road trip up there.

Best of luck Steve. I hope everything runs smoothly and you're able to be back with another jaw dropping system.

Here's to the next evolution!

Thanks Alex...I have documented all of my mistakes and the corrections that were made over the last year so that when you come down to help me with the plumbing the next evolution will be killer from the start!!!!

Best of luck Steve!I hope u are back soon!

Thanks Lukas....Im not gone yet and if we dont sell our house the price that we want then you guys will be stuck with this build thread. Either way, I will continue to watch everyone elses builds!

It's so haaaaaaaaard. To saaaaay gooooooodbyyyyyyyye to Steve Potterrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Bad rendition of Boyz to Men but wishing you safe trip.

Never good bye Wayne just so long for now but once the move goes thru I will become one of the "virtual build thread" members. Now the race will be who will get their tank up and running first....me or you

Surely we are owed a FTS or two before final breakdown (?). ;)

I will definitely work on taking some pictures. I never seem to be able to get good shots. I think during my tank hiatus I will take a class on how to take pictures and maybe read the owners manual for the camera I have had for 8 yrs.

Steve, best wishes to you and your family. Sounds like it's for the best and you'll have no regrets putting you reef tank on the back burner while you put your family first! Sad to hear such a beautiful tank tore down but it's part of this hobby, too bad water is not light and can be easily moved! :)

Good for you Steve! This is an opportunity for to take what you learned and make the next build even better.

Looking forward to your next build log and remember...I called dibs on the gonipora LOL.

A good friend of mine that has an amazing system is going to be holding some of my favorite pieces for me until I am established again and that piece falls into that category.

It was wrong to video tease the man. Let alone tease him and tell him he's not getting dibs on the coral. That's why I like you so much. Me personally being the gentleman I am would have made a longer video.

Yes...that one! Don't let the opportunity to spread some positive reef karma pass you by. I'll take the fish too given the fact they appear to be hosting the gonipora. No sense breaking up the family.:lmao:

Wait...I noticed no one called dibs on the lights. I'll take those too. Steve, you are the most generous person I know.

The guy I got it from said it was pavona but it doesnt get fuzzy like the one in the picture. Someone else said it looks like elephant ear coral but its definitely not that since thats a mushroom and this is a hard coral.
